Transformers!
This is gonna be a really short post that's meant to warn all the Transformers fans out there *cough Sheng cough Heng*. This morning I was reading like news online and there was this one piece of news on how a man was stopped from boarding a plane because he was wearing a Transformers t-shirt that had one of the characters holding a gun. He was told something like " Sir, we can't let you in because you've got a gun ON YOUR SHIRT " and had to change before he was allowed on to the plane. Seriously, do the immigration officers have no common sense or has it become that obvious and evident of how insecure this world has become? Or maybe they think that one of the Transformers is gonna jump out of the t-shirt holding a gun and try to hijack the plane.

forgive me for this, its going to sound so lame, i know but i've been studying psyc notes and i cant help it.
it's been shown that in the mere presence of a gun, even a toy gun, image of a gun, so long as it elicits the construct of what a gun does (i.e. violence, aggression), people will be more aggressive.
so they say that sometimes its not the people who pull the trigger, its what a gun does to ppl- the gun makes them pull the trigger.
i do, however, think its slightly perposterous to stop ppl from wearing a transformers shirt :P
